- The candidate must hold a minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from any recognized university and those candidates who are awaiting their results are also eligible for the preliminary exam. But they have to give proof of passing graduation before they appear in the main exam of civil services.
UPSC Age Limit 2025
- UPSC Age Limit for General Categories (UR): A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years.
- UPSC Age limit for OBC (Other Backward Classes): A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 35 years.
- UPSC Age limit for SC (Scheduled Cast): A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 37 years.

UPSC Application Form 2025
Applying for the Civil Services Examination – Candidates can get an application form from the official website of UPSC. The application form will be accepted online only. The application process will take place on 22 January 2025 and will end on 11 February 2025. Candidates will fill out the form in two stages; In 1st Stage, Candidates will be required to fill in their details, and in 2nd stage, candidates will have to make payment for the application fee.

How To Apply For UPSC Exam 2025
- Candidates are required to apply online by using the website upsconline.nic.in.
- The applicant needs to register himself/herself first at the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed to fill up the online application for the examination.
- OTR has to be registered only once in a lifetime.
- This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway to filling up the online application for the examination.
- Withdrawal of applications: The candidates will not be allowed to withdraw their applications after the submission of the same.
