BSF Constable Tradesman Educational Qualification 

• 10th Pass /Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized
• Two-year certificate course from the Industrial Training Institute in the trade or a similar trade; or 
• One-year certificate course from the Industrial Training Institute, Government government-affiliated Vocational Institute, with at least one year of experience in the trade;

For trades of Constable(Cobbler), Constable(Tailor), Constable(Washerman), Constable(Barber), Constable(Sweeper) and Constable(Khoji/Syce): 

• 10th Pass /Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized
• Must be proficient in the respective trade
• Must qualify trade test in the respective trade conducted by the recruitment

For the trades of Constable(Cook), Constable(Water Carrier) Constable(Waiter):

• 10th Pass/Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized
• National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) level-I Course in food production or Kitchen from the National Skill Development Corporation or the Institutes recognized by the National Skill Development Corporation. 
• Educational certificate other than State Board/Central Board should be accompanied with a Government of India notification declaring that such qualification is equivalent to Matric /10th class pass for service under the Central Government.
