RRB NTPC Under Graduate selection process will be based on the following –

RRB NTPC Graduate Level Exam Syllabus 2024: Exam Pattern
RRB NTPC CBT 1 Exam Pattern 2024: All the candidates will have to first appear for the RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam. The exam marks will not be added to the merit list. It is only qualifying. Candidates who qualify the RRB NTPC CBT 1 will have to appear for the RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam based on their marks.
- There is negative marking in RRB NTPC CBT 1. One third of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- If the candidate has not attempted any question, then neither marks will be deducted for that question nor any marks will be awarded.
- The merit list for appearing in RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam will be prepared on the basis of RRB NTPC CBT 1 marks.

RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam Pattern 2024: Only those candidates who qualify the RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam will be able to appear in the RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam.

RRB NTPC Graduate Level Exam Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test
- In the RRB NTPC Graduate Typing Skill Test, candidates will have to type 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.
- In the RRB NTPC Graduate Typing Skill Test, candidates will have to type on a personal computer and no editing tool or spelling correcting facility will be provided in it.

What is the syllabus of RRB NTPC Graduate Exam?

Is the syllabus of RRB NTPC undergraduate and graduate exam same?
- Yes, the syllabus of RRB NTPC undergraduate and graduate exam is same but the difficulty level of both the exams is different.
- RRB NTPC undergraduate exam asks questions up to 12th level whereas graduate exam asks questions of graduation level.
How many questions are there in the RRB NTPC Graduate exam?
- A total of 100 questions are asked in RRB NTPC Graduate Exam CBT 1 in which 40 questions are from General Awareness and 30 questions are asked from Mathematics and 30 questions are asked from General Intelligence & Reasoning.
- A total of 120 questions are asked in RRB NTPC Graduate Exam CBT 2 in which 50 questions are asked from General Awareness and 35 questions are asked from Mathematics and 35 questions are asked from General Intelligence & Reasoning.
What are the main topics that should be focused on for General Awareness?
For general knowledge, one must focus on the following topics
- About 6 to 8 questions are definitely asked from static GK, so all students should prepare for static GK very well.
- At least 6 questions will be asked from current affairs, so prepare the current affairs of the last 6 months well.
- Four questions will definitely be asked from Indian history and art and culture. So while preparing for general knowledge, more attention should be paid to these subjects.
Is there negative marking in the RRB NTPC Graduate exam?
- Yes, there is negative marking in the RRB NTPC Graduate exam. There is one third negative marking for every wrong answer.
- If a candidate has not solved any question, i.e. has not answered it, then in that case the candidate will neither get any marks nor will any marks be deducted.
Is the syllabus different for different regions of RRB?
RRB conducts exams for different subjects or regions and this exam has different exam patterns and syllabus as per the post.
